Saucy Minx was given a warm welcome from show manager DENISE HAYWARD when visiting this year’s TORONTO FALL HOME SHOW at the Enercare Centre (Exhibition Place). The show runs today through the weekend (Sept. 15-17) and all the info you need to get there can be found at www.fallhomeshow.com  –  but here’s Denise to tell you herself…

“Become inspired and informed with helpful advice at this year’s Toronto Fall Home Show,” states Denise Hayward, Show Manager. “Organizing your space, whether it’s big or small, a house or condo, is everyone’s goal.  Visitors come to the show to get ideas and tips for tackling their reno challenges, discovering small space inspirations and choosing the right technology for their home.”

Saucy Minx wandered the aisles today, checking out all sorts of gidgets, widgets, hoo-hahs and whatsits (yes, you can tell she’s quite challenged in the home reno field!) but here’s some cool home accessories and decor she thinks you might enjoy.

First off, Enbridge Gas has launched a Home Energy Conservation Program where you can learn how to save money and upgrade your home to preserve energy. “Granny’s House” (below) showcases all the outdated and inefficient ways we used to squander our energy, so drop in for a visit and learn how you can bring your home into the 21st century. Sadly the overhead lighting was not complimentary to the rich wood grain but you can see more photos on their website or Facebook page.

Saucy Minx has one of these Tibetan salt crystal lamps in her bedroom and definitely recommends the soft mood lighting…nice to see a great selection at this booth.20170915_14452320170915_144530Speaking of lighting, how about these sleek contemporary lamps from Page One Lighting Co. ?20170915_145801 20170915_145811 20170915_145835 20170915_145853(0)Saucy Minx then visited the ladies of WOW…Wooden Owl Woodworks from Manitoba.
