Yesterday, Saucy Minx visited the annual CANADA BLOOMS flower show that runs in conjunction with the National Home Show down at the Enercare Centre (formerly the Direct Energy Ctr) in the CNE Grounds in Toronto. The beautiful flower displays were breath-taking and the gardenscapes and fountains were beautiful – a great respite from the chilly windy weather outside…brrrrrr. Come walk the aisles with Saucy Minx and enjoy the colourful sights and relaxing sounds…..Let’s start with the very first display you see (above) as you walk through from the Home Show. Happy 150th birthday, Canada, in flowers! Then on to the gardening marketplace which was buzzing with buyers and browsers… Wanna buy a Coconut palm? How about a pool and water fountain for the front garden? There were quite a few from which to choose….
Saucy Minx really enjoyed the floral arrangements submitted into competition by the various gardening clubs across the city…wouldn’t these look lovely in your home? So many flowers….. Saucy Minx sat down and relaxed at one of the more spectacular fountain/patio showcases. Now this was a real Zen experience…
Saucy Minx ran into esteemed Canadian wildlife artist, Michael Pape, who’s booth showcased his stunning animal portraits, all of which were part of an auction raising funds for Jungle Cat World. You can learn more about this talented artist at www.theartofmichaelpape.com Saucy Minx was just about done with the show when all of a sudden….ELVIS! Huh? The King is alive and selling orchids at Canada Blooms…LOL!
